Quest Rules
Posting Order for Questers
-Questers may not double post.
-Fates posts do not occur after every round of posting
-Fates posts are made at the discretion of the overseeing staff member, but can be requested by Questers.
-When in a Fight, Fates Posts join the posting order and must be waited for after every round of posts.
Combat Rules
-Questers can Attack and Evade together in a post
-Questers can Evade and Heal together in a post
-Questers CANNOT Attack and Heal together in a post
-A Quester can attempt to use the evade dice to help another Character avoid an attack
-A Quester cannot use the Healing dice to heal themselves
-Escaping combat and fleeing/ retreating requires posts attempting so, and the outcome will be decided in a Fates post based on the quality of the escape attempt posts
Environmental Effects
-Questers are at the mercy of their environment at all times
-Any effects the environment has on a tribute(heat or cold, hunger or thirst, etc.) will be expressed through Fates posts
-Any damage caused by the environment is decided and announced in a Fates post by the overseeing staff member
HP, Perks, Powers and Weaponless Combat
-Health in the Quester Sheet will be updated by Staff every Fates post during a fight and after for healing
-Perk and Gift effects on dice rolls will be managed automatically be the overseeing staff member
-Attacking using Powers uses the attack die, and if the Fates see fit they will add a damage bonus to the attack
-Effects of using powers for any reason will be determined by a Fates post (fatigue, etc)
-Attacking without a Weapon will always be 5 damage if the die rolls a success, regardless of the number on the dice
Other Rules
-All regular RP rules apply
-Any Quester that goes inactive without giving notice will be left behind by the quest and will die of exposure or monster attacks
-If a member of the quest wins or buys a Magical/Godly Parent Gift they can apply it to their Quester and receive the item during the quest
-Any dice upgrades won/bought and used on Questers during the quest will not take effect until after the quest finishes
