Marc was lying on one of the couches in the Hermes Cabin planning room. They hadn't always had this place, apparently. The older campers say it was a secret gift from the Hephaestus Cabin to pay back a favour they owed the Hermes kids. Marc didn't know the full story, but he was glad they had the room, it was quiet and private from anyone who wasn't a Hermes kid. Plus, it was the easiest place to get in on pranks and plans his half-siblings were up to. That was always a blast at camp, as long as you were good enough to get away with it.

Daniel was lying in his bed, his arms behind his head, looking up at the ceiling. Every now and then he would check his watch for the time, first five minutes at a time, and then eventually five seconds. He sucked his teeth and got up, tired of waiting. Being a little early for the planning time wasn't bad, especially since he had a reputation to be late. Always good to surprise someone and get a good laugh over it. He got up and grabbed his white jacket, putting it on over his orange camp shirt. It wasn't exactly cold out, but the jacket was geared more towards looking good. He walked through the cabin he had called home for the best part of his life. He eventually came into the planning room, closing the door behind him. Daniel wasn't entirely expecting there to be someone else to be there, but despite that, he let his mouth open as he looked around the room and said, "Really? Only one other person here? Surprise surprise..." Daniel's voice had just a bit of sarcasm, but confirmed that it was when he grinned and took a seat. "So, why you hangin' out here? Just waiting and hoping everybody else will show up?"

Marc slowly rolled onto his side so he could face the newcomer. He recognized Daniel, one of his more uh... sassy, brothers. "Pretty much." he confirmed, smirking, "Something is always bound to happen eventually and I love helping out." he explained, "Besides, its nice and cool down here." he waved his arm at the room suggestively before letting it drop to his side again, where he absently scratched an itch at his knee.

Daniel chuckled when his younger half brother explained why he he was in the planning room. He nodded, extending his arms so they rested on the top of the chair he was on. "Smart, smart...this is where I would always go when I was new to camp. Just hang out here and wait for others to come by, always ready to help out with as many pranks as we could pull off." He grinned and rested his head back, but then looked back down and spoke once more saying, "Oh, and yeah, very cool here." He laughed once more and rested his head back again, waiting for others to show up or for Marc (he was pretty sure that was his name at least) to say something.

Marc shrugged, slightly disappointed that this guy was just here and didn't have anything going on. He couldn't really hold it against him though, ideas weren't easy to come by, and Marc hadn't presented or executed an idea of his own the entire time he had been at Camp. He was the new kid and didn't want to get shot down with a bad idea and never taken seriously again... well, as seriously as a Hermes Camper could be taken. "Yea, this place is pretty cool." he said, "I bet better than what the other Cabins have, for the most part"
