It's time to say goodbye ---- [Ari's Characters, yo!] Willow11

“Sometimes it takes a good fall to really know where you stand”
    ― Hayley Williams

The Basics
Full Name:Willow Marie Sheridan
Age: 16
Birthday: June 17th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
God Parent: Apollo, Greek God of the sun, truth and prophecy.
Place of Birth: Portland, Oregon in the good ole US of A.
Hometown/Last known residence: Beaverton, Oregon in the United States
Race/Ethnicity: white Caucasian as can be seen by the color of her skin, and because she was born in Oregon which is a state in the United States she is American.
Accent: Willow has a standard American accent, nothing that stands out when she is talking to those who live in the U.S.

Life Before Camp
The then Margaret 'Mockingbird' Sheridan met Willow's father and after some time dating they parted ways, but not soon afterwards she found out that she was pregnant with her one and only daughter. A whole 9 months later Willow was born and it was those two girls living in the city until Mockingbird met and married her husband Samuel when Willow was 3 years old and raised her as his own child. Though they tried to tell Willow that he was she knew all along Sam was not her real father, but she thinks of him as a father and would never think of him as anything less then that. The Sheridan-Monroe family lived in the bustling city of Portland, Oregon until Willow was 7; that was when they moved to a small outskirt city called Beaverton, Oregon to finally fulfill their lifelong dream of living off of the land.
Beaverton, Oregon is known most for its mix of city life and the well known outdoor beauty of Oregon. It was here that Mockingbird and Willow's stepfather Sam decided to move their 7 year old daughter deciding that the simple life was much more suited to their way of life. They started a garden and lived off the land as well as homeschooling Willow until the time that she left home. Willow was never one with a lot of friends as she spend most of her time with her parents and only attended public school until she was 7 years old. Willow tolerated Beaverton, really not caring much about the happenings of the city but knowing that she needed to put on a happy face for her mother who gave up the life she had to move there in hopes of giving Willow a better life. The only place she truly felt like she was welcome was the forested areas near her house as she lived on the outskirts of Beaverton nearest the woods. Willow spends the majority of her time wandering in the woods and can walk around on the trails or off of them for hours. Even after hours and hours she would stay there, not ever getting bored of the trees and the rocks and the open sky.
Noticing that Willow spent so much time in the woods and after a few successful archery lessons, her step-father Sam decided that in order to try and both keep an eye on her and bond with her he taught her how to shoot. Sam was an accomplished archer and had won many school wide competitions and he was pleased to see that Willow seemed to have an eye and pretty good aim. Starting when she was 10 years old, the young Willow started first with targets but soon moved on to shooting moving targets. Sam wanted to put Willow into competitions but Mockingbird never allowed it, and so she would never gain further training with a bow and arrow until she reached Camp Half Blood.
Willow had always had so many questions about her life, ones that her mother and step-father could never answer for her and felt like she was lost where she was and that she was being called somewhere else far away from Oregon. After dreaming of a mysterious place almost every night, Willow decided that she needed to follow her gut feeling and find out about the conflicting things she felt about herself and her life and asked if she could leave home to find this place. Her parents reluctantly agreed, and kept tabs on their daughter as she let her intuition lead her forwards. On her travels she crossed paths with a satyr who told her he could lead her to the place in her dreams and though reluctant at first she couldn't resist the urge to go with him. That was when he lead her to Camp Half Blood, and it was there that she was claimed by the god Apollo and learned of her true bloodline. After that point it seemed like an empty hole inside of her was finally filled and in a lot of ways she felt whole. Though she misses her parents she knows that the reward was well worth what she left behind.

Life at Home
Family:
Mortal Parent:Margaret 'Mockingbird' Sheridan-Monroe - Mother; massage therapist and yoga instructor in her mid 40's. Margaret lives more of a bohemian lifestyle and goes not by her birth name but by 'Mockingbird.' She met Willow's father, 'Paul' as she knew him, when she still lived in the city and dated him for about 6 months before they eventually parted ways. She found out only a short time after that she was pregnant but could not find 'Paul' to tell him, she had decided from there that she would have the baby and never speak of him to Willow. She got married to her husband Sam when Willow was 3 years old and though they tried to have more children she found out that she would never be able to have any more. She refers to Willow as her 'miracle child' for that reason. Mockingbird is free spirited and independent, and brings her spirit to everything she does in life. Willow is very much like her mother, their personality is extremely similar and Willow looks just like she did when she was younger. They both have the same wavy, dark brown hair and brown eyes as well as the same distinct dimples when they smile.

[size=10]
Pet(s): Her family has a male German Shepard that is named Ranger. He is a 13 year old dog that has been in her family since her mother and step-father got married. She grew up with him and while she doesn't live at home anymore she still thinks of him as her puppy.

Looks
Willow stands at and average height of 5'4", weighs an average weight of 115lbs and has an average build. She is thin but has more of an athletic build and has some slight muscle tone in only her shoulders and calves. Her long, dark chocolate brown hair has some lighter brown highlights mixed into them and falls in curls that frame her square face and falls past her shoulders and goes down to her mid back, matching the color of her hair are two defined, thin eyebrows. Her brown eyes match the color of her hair and her eyelashes are long and dark. Willow has two distinct dimples that make an appearance whenever she smiles, even if it is a slight grin; though she tends to wear more of a stern expression. Willow is considered Caucasian, mostly of European descent though her mother does have some Native American in her. It is very, very small, maybe about 20% but she does have some in her bloodline. Willow is fair skinned but she has no trouble tanning. It is a toss up with her, sometimes she tans nicely after spending the day outside but there are other times where she gets slightly burned from her sun exposure. When embarrassed Willow has been known to show a bright red blush that she wouldn't be able to hide. She also has a few scars from a lot of scraped knees and other childhood injuries, nothing too noticeable but of course she can see every single one as if there was a lit up sign advertising the presence of them. Appearance wise, Willow would consider herself pretty average; she thinks she has some nice features but nothing that makes her stand out from a crowd and she has no problem believing that.
Height:5 foot 4 inches tall
Weight: 115 pounds
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Brown
Body Type: Thin and Athletic
Skin Tone: Fair skinned with a tendency to tan.

Personality
Willow is fiercely independent, laid back, and easy going. She tends not to care too much when things go wrong knowing full well that not everything happens the way that we always want them to. She is no nonsense in her approach to problems and tends to try and find the easiest solution to any problem and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty if she needs to. Willow tends to stay more quiet in social situations, speaking up only when she needs to and seeming more like a loner than a social butterfly. When it comes to earning her trust one must really earn it as she doesn't do so easily. Once she gets to know someone though she is extremely loyal, not ever budging from their side when they are in need and going to any distance to help them when she can. Willow always seems to have an emotional wall around her that is hard to break down, and she can come off as a bit stand-offish and sometimes unfriendly.
Talents: Willow is very adept with using a bow and arrow and has great aim, being able to hit almost any target even a moving one. She can also use a hunting knife, a skill she picked up from hunting with her step-father. Willow has a very uncanny ability to not get lost even if she tried to. Living near the forests in Oregon for her younger years she was always able to find her way back home after wandering around all day, even without any trails to lead her back. She can heal faster than most and even some of the more serious injuries like broken bones can heal in a matter of days. Her endurance is very good, walking around outside on her own adventures for a whole day has built up her endurance quite a bit.
Flaws: Willow is emotionally closed off and is not one to let people in too close. She is slow to trust and it takes quite a bit to get to the point where she is comfortable with opening up to someone. She can come off to some as stand offish and sometimes uninterested in others, although that isn't always the case. She can be harsh at times and she is very no nonsense and will do most anything to achieve her goal. Many people would say she is more of a loner instead of a people person. Willow can be awkward at times, especially when it comes to things like hugging, hand shaking, etc. She doesn't know when or how to approach that kid of stuff and tends to stay away from it all together.
Strengths: Willow is very independent and doesn't tend to loose her cool often. While she can, it takes a lot of provocation to hit that point. This usually makes her the voice of reason in a lot of situations and to the people she befriends they find her to be someone they go to with their problems. She is loyal and is willing to do whatever it takes to help a friend and her own stubborn attitude and high resolve won't let her see things not get completed. Willow also doesn't think too much on the past as she gets that things happen for a reason and tries to not to let it affect what she does too much. She is more interested in using it to help shape her future then worry about how she wished she could go back.
Weaknesses: When it comes to running, Willow is an average speed and although she can jog and move for long periods of time she doesn't do well when it comes to sprinting. Physically she is not extremely strong, being able to throw one good punch but anything more than that would be a problem for her which is why she prefers using a bow and arrow instead of her fists.
Likes: Hiking, archery, art and a good sandwich
Dislikes: Flirtatious and arrogant people, having to confront her own feelings, and being cold.
Fears:Although Willow likes most animals one of her biggest fears is snakes. The mere sight of them sends her running off screaming. She may play tough in most other situations but put a snake in front of her and she will lose her composure in an instant. Willow also hates heights and will have an anxiety attack even 3 or more stories above the ground.

Life at Camp
Weapon: Willow is most known for carrying a bow and arrow with her at most times and spends a lot of her free time practicing the skills her step-father taught her. The bow itself is made of fine and lightweight oak with very elaborate carvings of suns and laurels on them. It was a gift from her parents when she went back to camp after her first year. The tips of her arrows are made of celestial bronze and have no other special talents involved with them then being able to kill monsters.
Armor: Willow doesn't wear armor, she doesn't like the feel of it and won't allow anyone to put it on her. For something like Capture the Flag games she may wear some sort of padding but when it comes to going out on her own or any sort of adventures she prefers to keep herself as light and maneuverable as possible. She isn't opposed to wearing reinforced tunics but full on plates of armor are out of the question and you will need a lot of luck to get her into it.
Powers:
Accelerated Healing: Willow is able to heal at a very quick pace when she puts a lot of focus into doing so. She has broken a few bones and they have healed in a matter of days instead of weeks, and she hardly gets sick at all. As a child it seemed like it was something that came far easier to her and while most kids spent their time getting scratched knees and getting sick, Willow seemed to never have a bruise on her. As she got older though it seemed that it took more and more energy and focus to actually do anything. Willow can't fully control this power or even use this to heal anyone, she just tends to find herself not needing as long of a recovery period when she gets injured; with some work on her end. The bigger the cut or wound the more time and energy she has to focus on it healing, but her lack of handle on the power itself means it still takes a few hours to heal even a simple scratch and then another few hours to really feel like her energy is at 100% again. So even though she can heal a small wound or cut on her, the process to heal herself causes her energy to drain and make her feel worse then when she got the injury in the first place. She gets dizzy and even gets headaches after using it and if she focuses for too long she can feel quite nauseous afterwards, this can last for a few hours and she certainly wouldn't be able to or even want to try and use it again for at least a day. She hasn't worked on mastering this power and at times likes to pretend it doesn't even exist, so the time it takes for her to recover can be a few hours. She only uses her focused healing when she absolutely has to.

“People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
    ― Abraham Lincoln

The Basics
Full Name:Lucia Renae Martin
Nickname: She goes by Lucy mainly as she feels Lucia is far too formal for her.
Age: 17
Birthday: September 24th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
God Parent: Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams
Place of Birth: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Hometown/Last known residence: Richmond, Ontario, Canada
Race/Ethnicity: Lucy is a white Caucasian of Canadian ethnicity
Accent: Lucy has no trace of a Canadian accent even though she grew up there.

Life Before Camp
Roxanne Martin had her whole life in front of her. She had just graduated from University and majored in psychology and had gotten an internship at a company that conducted sleep and dream studies. Everything seemed to be looking up for the young 23 year old woman from Toronto, Ontario. Roxanne met Lucy's father one day while she was at work and instantly hit it off. Roxanne knew him as Steven but little did she know that he was actually a god in disguise, Morpheus the god of dreams to be exact. They dated for awhile, but it was more of a quick fling as he disappeared from her life after being together for only a few months. Two months later Roxanne discovered she was 4 months pregnant but no matter how hard she tried she could not get in touch with Steven and assumed he was just going to be a dead beat dad and wrote him off deciding to just raise the child as a single mother. Roxanne had complications with her pregnancy for the entire time she was pregnant, causing her to be hospitalized a few times for fear of miscarriage and an early labor. Lucy was born early after another set of complications and it was determined by the doctors that if she wasn't born then that it would kill not only her unborn child but Roxanne herself. Roxanne gave birth to her daughter which she named Lucia after her grandmother but unfortunately slipped into a coma from complications during childbirth. She was pulled from life support after it was determined that she was indeed brain dead and Amy Martin, Lucy's grandmother took custody of her granddaughter and determined to raise her.
Lucy grew up under the watchful eye of her grandmother Amy, and although she never met her mother Roxanne she had seen many pictures and heard many stories about her. There were so many times that she had wished she had got to meet the mother she so desperately missed and wished was still around but the stories were enough for her. While Lucy felt like she got enough love from her grandmother, it was also rough on both of them. Amy would work all day and come home and usually drink; and while Amy was a loving drunk she was still drunk. Though there was never abuse in the family there were times that Lucy felt as though she had caused her grandmother's drinking and in a way that was true. Amy only thought of the daughter she lost in her granddaughter's eyes and unfortunately the only way she could ever deal with that was with alcohol. But nonetheless, Lucy grew up fairly normal with her grandmother and was well supported and taken care of. When Lucy was 5 years old Amy found out that she had a tumor in one of her breasts and went through chemotherapy. After her treatment she went into remission and was cancer free for another year until the tumor came back. The doctors tried what they could but in the end the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and had gone throughout her body. There was nothing more they could do and after her 2 year battle, Amy died and left Lucy, then 7 years old, to be passed around to a few different foster families.
Lucy had been passed around between 3 different families for the other 3 years before she ended up at Camp Half Blood. They were nice enough families that she stayed with, but as the foster child she never felt like she belonged anywhere not only because she had no blood ties to any of the people she was forced to live with but also because even at a young age Lucy knew she was different. She noticed it even back before her grandmother passed away, but it became more apparent after she moved to her 3 new families. Lucy developed a terrible case of insomnia, but not because she couldn't sleep but because she didn't want to sleep. Lucy has terrible night terrors, ones that seem so real but there was one nightmare that seemed to come to her every night and wake her violently from her sleep. She would also feel as though she never seemed to stay in her own mind when she slept, and once or twice the children she lived with even told her that they would see her in their dreams. She never had any recollection of this, but it would only happen on nights when she actually allowed herself to get a full nights sleep. Not to mention she started seeing a man who seemed to be following her whenever she moved to a new family. Anytime she moved it seemed like there was that familiar older gentleman who moved into the house next door or down the street from her. Although he always had a different name and never claimed to know her, she could recognize his face and could never shake the fact that he seemed familiar to her.
At the age of 10, Lucy was approached by this neighbor whom she had come to know this time as Tom. Tom told her about her father and of Camp Half Blood, but like anyone would do she dismissed him. It wasn't until he began to say things that no one else would know, like her dreams and such that she started to listen to what he had said. He offered to take her away, but she refused at first. Lucy went on with her life normally until she was attacked by a hellhound. The young girl had no idea what to do and just stood there, bracing herself for an attack when Tom came to her rescue. It was from that point on that Lucy packed her bags and followed the satyr disguised as Tom all the way to Camp Half Blood where within a year she was claimed by her father Morpheus.

Life at Home
Family:
Mortal Parent: Roxanne Martin - Mother; deceased. Roxanne Martin was Lucy's mother and died at the very young age of 23. She actually died from complications during Lucy's birth and so the only interaction the two had with each other was Roxanne holding her daughter after her birth. About 10 minutes after the doctors took Lucy away to the newborn unit Roxanne slipped into a coma and was then pronounced brain dead after a few days. Roxanne's mother, Lucy's grandmother, decided to have her daughter taken off life support and took in her granddaughter to be raised by her. Roxanne when she was alive was a woman who was very down to earth, studious and quite the party girl in the right setting. She had beautiful blonde hair that Lucy inherited from her and very pretty green eyes that were always behind a pair of black rimmed glasses that she used for reading purposes.
Other: Amy Martin - Grandmother; deceased. Amy was Lucy's grandmother that she lived with after her mother's untimely death. The only things Lucy knew about her mother were the things that her grandmother told her trying to make sure the young girl knew as much about her as possible. Amy was a caring guardian for Lucy though she had her own troubles after her daughter's death. Amy was a heavy smoker and even started drinking heavily after Roxanne's death. She had her own problems with addiction and although she never admitted it she was what people consider an alcoholic. In her later years in life Amy had the worn look of someone who had been smoking for the majority of their life, but she did still have her blonde hair and her blue eyes were still as bright as they had been when she was a much younger woman. Amy died of breast cancer when Lucy was 7 years old after fighting it for 2 years.

Pet(s): None

Looks
Lucy stands at a nice height of 5 foot and 7 inches and weighs about 145lbs. She has a more average build and while she is not the skinniest of people at camp she really could care less about that, and although she does partake in physical activity she doesn't seem to have much muscle tone to her. Her face is oval shaped and her eyes are almond shaped and are a blue-green color that can seem to change depending on what she wears/what is around her making the color stand out. Though most times it seems her eyes are more of the blue variety then green. She has no freckles at all and her skin is a light, almost ivory, color with a hint of pink and tan in it. She tends to burn if out in the sun exposed to long but that burn usually turns into a tan after a few days of being red like a lobster. Lucy's hair is auburn in color with a hint of brown . It goes past her shoulders and is naturally straight like a pin, but she will sometimes curl it or let it be wavy. Lucy has a wide smile that she tends to have on her face about 75% of the time.
Height:5'7"
Weight: 145 pounds
Hair Color: Auburn
Eye Color: Bluish green in color.
Body Type: Average
Skin Tone: Fair skinned

Personality
Lucy is a carefree and friendly girl who is known to have a quirky sense of humor as well as an optimistic outlook on things. For a girl whose only blood relatives died and was passed around from home to home, Lucy seems pretty upbeat about a lot of things, although she still harbors some of the insecurities and fears from her childhood. But Lucy tries not to think on the bad things that have happened in her past too much and instead decided to try and look at things in a more positive light. She decided to recreate herself when she came to Camp Half Blood and that is what she did by getting past the more reserved nature she felt and being unafraid to show her more quirky side. Lucy has a great sense of humor and likes to make people laugh, although her humor is a little weird at times and can sometimes consist of bad puns and even worse observation humor. Lucy is also an insomniac because of night terrors that she tends to get. They are so bad that she now hates going to sleep for fear that she will have them.
Talents: Lucy loves to dance and is actually pretty good at it. She started taking classes when she lived with her grandmother but after her death she was forced to take a break from any professional lessons though she still did it during her spare time. After coming to camp she was able to take up some sort of lessons again but mainly does it as a hobby. She is pretty speedy and can run pretty fast for a good amount of time before she gets winded. Generally she can run away from a lot of things and in a game of tag she is pretty hard to catch. Lucy also has a talent, if it could be considered a talent that is, of making some pretty bad puns.
Flaws: Lucy can be a little too caring at times and will try her best to help anyone even if it is at the expense of herself. There have been plenty of times that she has given up something for herself for someone else and she is one of those people that tends to get taken advantage of. Lucy can also be pretty sensitive about things and when her feelings get hurt she will cry about it right in front of you, though she tends to shake off and laugh about jokes directed at her numerous jokes made at her expense will start to wear on her and make her upset. She can also be considered by some to be annoying at times. Her bubbly and friendly personality isn't for everyone and if she is with someone who does not like that it can get ugly. Lucy can be a little spacy at times and while she always did fine in her studies she ends to be a day dreamer of sorts and was never one to have great focus. She has attention deficit disorder, or ADD for short and so getting her to focus on something long enough can be tricky at times unless it is something she really adores doing. Lucy has a case of psoriasis which is a skin condition that causes flaking and scaling on the skin right around the elbows, knees, and sometimes scalp. Lucy's is prominent on her scalp and it causes some red blotches on her head and behind her ears. She gets self conscious about it, especially when she wears her hair up in a ponytail. Kids used to tease her about it when she was younger but now she is more confident in her own skin that she doesn't get anxiety over wearing her hair up anymore.
Strengths: Lucy has a good sense of humor and a friendly demeanor. She has no problem making friends and cheering people up when they are upset. She also tends to genuinely care about how other people are doing and will usually go out of her way to help someone, stranger or not. She is carefree and goes with the flow of things and a lot of people really love her for that as well as her flexibility in most situations. She doesn't tend to freak out if things don't go according to plan and doesn't try to control the outcomes of things.
Weaknesses:Lucy is not good with weapons due to her own cruddy hand-eye coordination. She never played any sports because of that, unless it was track. The only one she is mildly okay in using is a spear but even that she isn't adept in using. She is also not very physically strong and in a fight wouldn't be able to handle herself alone. She has no problem running away, but being forced into a fight is not a situation Lucy wants to be apart of. Lucy is a lover, not a fighter. Lucy is an insomniac so she tends to be tired during the day because she doesn't sleep much. Her body is accustomed to getting only a few hours of sleep but there are some days where she really feels just how tired she is and gets physically sick from it.
Likes: Dancing, reading a good book, ducks and watching movies.
Dislikes: Thunder, wearing shoes, and trying new kinds of foods
Fears:Lucy fears her own dreams at times, and this has made her almost afraid to go to sleep. This is the very reason that she has developed a case of insomnia. Lucy is also horribly afraid of thunder. Whenever there is a thunderstorm Lucy seizes up and can't move. She usually finds someplace she considers comfy, like a small room like a closet or something and curls up in a ball, covering her ears until the loud booms stop. Lucy also fears death and mainly losing someone close to her. After losing both her grandmother and her mother she does not want to go through the same pain again.

Life at Camp
Weapon: Lucy uses a celestial bronze tipped spear, but uses it only when she absolutely has too. She isn't amazing when it comes to her spear handling and really only uses the weapon because it has a long range and she can whack monsters with it pretty good and doesn't have to aim well in order to do so. It has no special powers or decorations on it. It is lightweight and easy for Lucy to use with her lack of coordination with weapons.
Armor: Lucy will always wear a lightweight celestial bronze chest plate and usually a reinforced cap if she goes outside of the camps borders and into an area where monsters are known to prowl. She is so afraid of monsters injuring her that she is not caught dead without some for of protection on her.
Powers:
Dream Walking: Lucy has the ability to go into a person's dreams if they are sleeping but only if she knows them prior to trying to use that. She cannot use it on a stranger or just any random person she picks off the street. Using this causes her to go into a coma like state while she is in the dream and she cannot respond to any outside stimulus while she is using it. While in a dream she cannot do much, she is really only an observer. The only thing she can do is speak to those in the dream with her, but she cannot alter the surroundings or touch anything. She can only be in there for up to an hour at a time and must keep track of her time because if she does not leave before an hour she will be ripped from the dream and become sick afterwards. After Lucy leaves the dream it usually takes her 5 to 10 minutes to wake from her coma like state as a way to recharge, though the longer she stays in the dream the longer she needs to recharge. This recharge period does not mean though that she will be energetic after, on the contrary she will be lethargic and will look as though she is extremely tired and has even been known to have dizzy spells. A person can resist this if they know she is there and can kick her out of the dream.. She can only use her power 3 times a day and must wait at least 4 hours after each use.

It's time to say goodbye ---- [Ari's Characters, yo!] Tumblr_m3x1wlwfXt1rou99i

“If I weren’t too proud, I’d boast of my exaggerated opinion of myself.”
    ― Benson Bruno

The Basics
Full Name:Dane Henry Williams
Age: 17
Birthday: February 29th
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
God Parent: Dionysus, the Greek God of wine, theater and ecstasy
Place of Birth: San Diego, California, US of A
Hometown/Last known residence: San Diego, California, US of A
Race/Ethnicity: Dane is American based on his birthplace and he is considered white Caucasian. He does have a little bit of Portuguese and Spanish in his blood though.
Accent: Dane has no real discernible accent, he does have a bit of a 'Californian' accent though for those who can pick it out.

Life Before Camp
A one night stand between a bartender and a seemingly nice bar patron ended up changing Marlena Williams' life forever. Dane was born and raised with a fairly normal childhood, though one thing always stood out to his mother Marlena. He always asked about his father, but never got answers because Marlena had none to give him. Dane had, even as a small child, an uncanny ability of being able to get whatever he wanted, especially from women by just one simple look. As he got older Dane's ability to attract people began to manifest more and more and he began to control it so he could use it to his advantage. After an incident involving a girl at the high school he attended, Dane was removed from and with nowhere else to go for school he was approached by a strange man who said he knew about who he was and his father, offering him answers if he went to Halfblood Hill. With no other real choice Marlena was faced with the decision her son made to go to the camp, though she doesn't know exactly what it is believing it to be a private school that he is attending. When he arrived it was then that he was claimed by Dionysus, or Mr. D as he is known to all the campers.

Life at Home
Family:
Mortal Parent: Marlena Williams - A bartender in San Diego, and single mother in her late 30's though she acts like she is still 25. Getting pregnant when she was still young changed the college student's life forever. When she was only 21 years old she met a man while she worked her shift at the bar she worked at, and after a few drinks and some talking one thing lead to another and she ended up spending the night with him. She never spoke to him again and after 9 months, Marlena gave birth to a son and was forced to raise the boy on her own. Marlena was attending San Diego State University at the time before she got pregnant but was forced to quit and get a full time job to help take care of her child, and has since worked in the same bar she had started out in and now is the manager. She still loves the night life and partying although at this point she could be considered a little old to still be doing such things. Her approach to parenting is a little unorthodox and acts more like a friend to Dane than a mother.

Pet(s): None

Looks
Dane has a chiseled, square face; his looks at some point seem almost unnatural. His short brunette hair is usually messy and looks like it hasn't ever been brushed. Dane stands at 5'7" and weighs in at around 150lbs or so. He has some muscle tone in his shoulders and arms and has a thinner build than most guys around his age. Dane has a natural olive skin tone and he always seems to have a slight farmer's tan. What Dane is known most for his huge smile which can be seen from a mile away.
Height:5'7"
Weight: 150 pounds
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Body Type: Thin, yet slightly muscular.
Skin Tone: Olive skin tone that is tanned from being outside.

Personality
Dane's most noticeable personality trait is his flirty demeanor. He is extroverted, and could be considered a 'social butterfly' in any social situation. He is also the type to manipulate any situation to his advantage and is extremely manipulative when it is beneficial to him. He uses the fact that he is good looking to his advantage constantly. Dane always has a nickname for anyone, usually stemming from one thing he notices about the person the first time he meets them. He is quite cocky and very sure of himself and his relationships with others. Dane is also commitment phobic, he has never been in any committed relationship with any girl. Or at least on that could be considered committed to him.
Talents: His friendly demeanor is one of Dane's greatest assets. He can easily charm a crowd and usually knows just what to say in order to suit his needs the most. Whether it be complimenting or flirting, Dane can usually disarm a situation using words instead of force and has done so in order to get out of plenty of tough situations. He is also pretty humorous and will try to use humor to diffuse a tense situation if the previous two hadn't work out like he had planned. He can also be manipulative, and can get most people (namely girls) to do whatever he wants by simply showing them attention. Dane is extremely light on his feet, fast and he can sneak around without being detected, usually. He is also talented with a paint brush, although it doesn't seem like he should be. He can also climb trees without too much effort on his part.
Flaws: Dane's biggest and most noticeable flaw is his extreme arrogance and his grandiose opinion of himself. This tends to turn most people off and has been the cause of him getting slapped around a few times in the past. His manipulative nature also makes those who have been taken advantage of think not to highly of him. He is also one to never admit his shortcomings, almost believing that he has none. And although he is charming and a people magnet, this can also get him into trouble. He is strong, but his physical strength and hand to hand combat are not his strong suits, preferring to hide rather than fight unless he has to.
Likes: Flirting, painting, climbing trees, pizza.
Dislikes: Getting slapped (though it happens more often then not), strawberries and heights.
Fears: Dane's biggest fear is ironically heights, even though he likes to climb trees. But more specifically he is afraid of large heights so putting him in a plane would be an AWFUL idea and the idea of flying is terrifying for him. Dane is also afraid of flying, and has never been on a plan for fear of having a nervous breakdown and possibly seeing a monster on the wing of the plane.

Life at Camp
Weapon: Dane uses a knife that has a celestial bronze blade for those times when he is caught in a fight. His deadly charm also seems to cut a few hearts open ;3
Armor: He tends not to wear armor, too bulky for his tastes and he is more about speed and evasion. He only wears a lightweight plate if he absolutely has to during sparring.
Powers:
Increased Alcohol Tolerance: As most children on the God of wine, Dane has a higher tolerance for alcohol then most people. Not like this is as big of a life saving power of some demigods like the healing powers of Apollo children or the ability to control ice like the children of Chione; but it still has its uses. Dane can definitely outlast about 95% of the people at a party. Unfortunately he cannot control grape vines or anything, but this alcohol tolerance has definitely gotten him out of trouble with the authorities when that type of thing arises and only reinforces his more rebellious side.
